Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands and waterways across Australia on which we operate and travel. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the deep and ongoing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country. We are grateful for the opportunity to move through and work on these lands.
Our Commitment to Indigenous Australia
As a family-owned and operated business, PEP Transport recognises the role we can play in contributing to reconciliation through the way we work and the relationships we build.
We are committed to developing respectful connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and businesses, and to continuing to learn and better understand the histories, cultures and connections that shape the places we operate in.
Through our work, we see how access, connection and opportunity can make a real difference across communities. This is something we are continuing to build on, in a way that is practical, considered and meaningful over time.
We also recognise the importance of creating opportunities within our own business, and are focused on building an environment where people feel supported, valued and able to grow.

Message from the CEO
At PEP Transport, we recognise that we have a unique opportunity to play an active role in the journey of reconciliation. This is a responsibility we take seriously; reconciliation is not a short-term goal, but an ongoing journey.
Our Core Values: Professionalism, Proactivity, Driven, Integrity, Respect, and Communication guide everything we do. These are embedded in our culture and in the way we engage with our team members, customers and communities.
Central to our vision for reconciliation is respect. Respect for the deep connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the land, waters, and cultures. We are committed to fostering an environment where cultural awareness is not only encouraged but fully integrated into our daily operations. By understanding and appreciating the rich heritages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, we aim to build stronger relationships across all levels of our organisation and throughout our wider networks.
In alignment with our Core Values, we believe that through our genuine and sustained commitment to reconciliation, we can contribute to a future where all Australians, regardless of background, can thrive. This is a vision we are proud to work towards, and one we believe will help shape a more inclusive and respectful Australia for generations to come.
Thank you for joining us on this important journey. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Reconciliation Action Plan
Our Approach to Reconciliation
Reconciliation is shaped through the way we show up, the relationships we build and the steps we take over time.
At PEP Transport, our approach is grounded in building strong relationships, growing our understanding, creating opportunities and making sure we follow through on what we set out to do.

Building Genuine Relationships
We are taking the time to build genuine relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations across the areas we work in. This means reaching out, listening and staying connected, while also taking part in initiatives like National Reconciliation Week. Over time, we are focused on building relationships that are respectful, consistent and built on trust.
Building Respect Through Understanding
A big part of this journey is continuing to learn and build a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and connections to land.
Across the business, we are taking steps to build that awareness, from learning more about Traditional Owners and cultural protocols to recognising initiatives like NAIDOC Week. Over time, we want this understanding to be reflected in how we work every day.

Building Opportunities Through Our Work And Partnerships
We recognise that the work we do can play a role in supporting opportunity and participation.
As part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, we are exploring ways to support employment pathways within our business, while also looking at how we can work more closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses. It is about finding practical ways to contribute that are meaningful and sustainable over time.
Staying Accountable As We Move Forward Through Governance
As we move forward, we want to make sure this work continues in a way that is consistent and genuinely followed through across the business. Our Reconciliation Action Plan sets out the actions we are working towards, and we are continuing to build this into how we operate by keeping track of our progress, sharing how we are going and learning as we go. This also helps us prepare for the next stage of our reconciliation journey over time.

Our Journey So Far
PEP Transport began our reconciliation journey in 2024, taking the first steps towards building a structured approach to reconciliation across the business.
Since then, we have been focused on establishing the foundations of our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan. This includes developing internal awareness, strengthening understanding across our team, and identifying opportunities to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders.
We have also been working to put the right structures in place to support delivery, including governance, accountability, and ongoing reporting as part of our Reconciliation Action Plan.
As our journey progresses, we will continue to build on these foundations and share updates that reflect our commitment in action.
We will continue to share updates as part of our reconciliation journey, including events, initiatives and key milestones across the business.
National Reconciliation Week 2026
PEP Transport marked National Reconciliation Week by supporting awareness and engagement across the business, with a focus on building understanding and strengthening relationships.
NAIDOC Week 2026
Our team recognised NAIDOC Week through internal initiatives and awareness activities, supporting greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history.
